Program Year 2018 – 2019

Let Your Life Speak!
11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Our program strives not just to teach about Unitarian Universalism, but also to provide experiences around the strength of community, life issues we all share, and personal empowerment at an age-appropriate level.  In a group setting, with loving adult guides, young children can engage in spiritual seeking, develop their openness to sharing, and experience the benefit of a supportive community.

Children in this program experience the values of Unitarian Universalism through the adult program leaders who model kindness and compassion as they engage the children in a wide range of activities throughout the year. Children are encouraged to build lasting friendships as they enjoy the shared experience of exploring our faith. Program sessions are planned to coincide with the topics being discussed weekly in worship, so there is always a direct connection between what the children experience in the Studio and what their families experience in the Sanctuary.

The children gather at 11:00 in the Sanctuary with their families to experience the multigenerational portion of the Worship Service every Sunday.  At a designated time in the service, usually after the story and hymn, they journey down the hall to their program in the studio, until 12:15 when parents pick them up following the service.
