Trunk or Treat in the UUCG parking lot

Setup begins at 5:00 pm, event from 5:30 – 8:00pm
Trunk or Treat is a Halloween event during which costumed children wend their way around the parking lot visiting cars with decorated trunks and collecting candy or small “prizes”. It provides families with an alternative (or addition) to door-to-door trick or treating.
This event is a great way for UUCG families from around the county to celebrate Halloween together, and it is also an outreach to the local community, as all are invited to participate.
The Faith Development Team needs your help to make this event a success. All UUCGers are invited to decorate a trunk and come take part in greeting the children and handing out treats. If you are in leadership at UUCG, we encourage you to get together with your Team or Committee and create a Trunk themed to your group’s mission – or just something fun! (If you want help coming up with a theme or ideas, feel free to ask Christiana or any member of the Faith Development Team!)
This year, in addition to Trunks, there will be games, prizes and all manner of assorted fun. So please mark your calendar and plan to join us.
