The Autumnal Equinox, called Alban Elued, occurs around the 21st of September. Alban Elued refers to “Light of the Water” (OBOD). This is the second harvest festival and marks the end of the harvest. Night and day are equally balanced as the darkness of winter begins to move in. This is also the final sacred day in the Wheel of the Year.
Join the Sylvan Sanctuary for our annual Alban Elued ritual. For each ritual, considering bringing your staff or wand, an instrument, and an offering for Mother Earth. Any updates will be provided via the Facebook group.
