We will be exploring the art of making Fairy Wings! Gather with us as we take wire, glue, fabric, pantyhose, and other materials to create our very own fairy wings!
Fairies are said to be more active during the Summer Solstice as the veil between the two worlds thins. There are many fairy tales about these curious and mischievous beings coming to the world to create chaos and steal the children. One most famous writing is A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare, but in different cultures there are many different beliefs about the fae.
Come out and join the fun and create your own fairy wings to trick the fairies into thinking you are one of them! Just don’t eat any food they offer you…
This is a family-friendly event, all ages of participants are welcome.
