Summer Solstice: Longest Night Beginning Night

Saturday, June 18, 2016, 06:00pm – 08:00pm

Sylvan Sanctuary will be holding a public ritual for the Summer on Saturday night, June 18th, at 6:00 PM in the UUCG sanctuary.

This Summer Solstice ritual is a Druid (Earth-centered) celebration of the height of the Sun’s power in our northern hemisphere and all that symbolizes: seeds are planted, plants are growing, creative works of all kinds are coming to flower.

We will celebrate that, and at this ritual, we will also honor the lives lost in Orlando and the life of our dear friend, John Duktig.

This Summer Solstice ritual  is open to the public and led by members of the Sylvan Sanctuary Grove of Druids.

All are welcome to attend.  We ask that you bring a food or drink to share afterwards during our time of fellowship.

Ritual begins at 6:00, with shared snacks and fellowship following.  Ritual attire is welcome but not required.
