Trans Inclusion Course Open for Registration

The Spring 2022 cycle of the Transgender Inclusion in Congregations course is open for registration.  Sessions will take place during February, March, and April, with a concluding session in May.

This course is for individuals, groups, and congregational teams who want to take their knowledge and skills to the next level in terms of trans identity and how to create congregations that are fully inclusive and affirming of the full breadth of gender diversity.

Over six sessions you will deeply explore the intersection of trans identity, spirituality, and faith community, and gain the grounding, context, and skills to transform yourself and your congregation.

This program is a combination of self-paced learning and group discussion sessions.  The course materials will be available to registered participants the second week of February, and facilitated discussion meetings will take place monthly through April, with a wrap-up/next steps session in May.

There will be two groups available:

  • Online sessions (via Zoom) from 7-9 PM on Feb. 24, Mar. 24, and Apr. 28 with a wrap-up/next steps session on May 12th
  • In-person sessions from 10A-12P on Feb. 26, Mar.26, and Apr. 23 with a wrap-up/next steps session on May 14th
