The Summer Solstice, called Alban Heruin, is celebrated around the 21st of June, when the Sun and day are at their peak. Alban Heruin means the Light of the Shore (OBOD) and during this time tradition tells us that druids would hold complex ceremonies and the power of the Sun is at its most potent.
Join the Sylvan Sanctuary for our annual Heruin ritual. For each ritual, consider bringing your staff or wand, an instrument, a dish to share, and an offering for Mother Earth. Any updates will be provided via the Facebook group.
