Join us as we honor Imbolc, the midway point between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, a time of renewal, inspiration, and the returning light. Together, we’ll celebrate Brigid’s flame, the stirring of seeds beneath the soil, and the promise of growth to come. Through ritual, reflection, and community, we welcome the season of hope and new beginnings.
What? SNOW? Well, maybe, and more deep cold for sure. Those of us co-leading the ritual have decided it’s probably best for all of us to offer a Zoom version ONLY of the ritual this time since snow is a likely possibility on Saturday with way below freezing temps. We’ve put a lot of work in creating the Zoom version with pictures that we hope will aid the experience. Here’s what you need to have on hand to fully participate:
1. A candle for Brigid’s fire
2. A bowl of water for Brigid’s well
3. Your Brat Bride, or a piece of cloth or ribbon that can become your Brat Bride (mantle of Brigid)
4. An offering for Mother Earth
5. A journal or something to write on
