In honor of the 105th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, our program will feature women as pallbearers, speakers, and testifiers. Together, we will remember the long struggle for voting rights and connect it to today’s urgent policy battles — from healthcare and housing to fair wages and the dignity of all people.
Rooted in the Moral Fusion Organizing tradition of the First Reconstruction after the Civil War, the Second Reconstruction of the Civil Rights Era, and now a Third Reconstruction, Moral Mondays call us to prophetic witness in the face of policies that value corporate profits and militarism over human needs.
